The Institute's logo dates back to the early Christian community.  It contains at its heart the first three letters in Greek of the Holy Name of Jesus. When the Society of Jesus was established by Ignatius of Loyola, this icon, in various forms, became the symbol of the Society. It proclaims that Jesus is at the core of all our ministries and it reminds us that Jesus is to be found in every person the Institute seeks to serve.
